United Way of Marion County

Candour, a full-service strategic branding and design studio, has selected the United Way of Marion County (UWMC) as its 2009 Non-Profit Client-of-the-Year. The studio is on pace to donate nearly $18,000 worth of strategic branding and design to UWMC.

“The United Way of Marion County’s efforts help a variety of other non-profits, so we chose them as our 2009 Non-Profit Client-of-the-Year as a way to help several others in the process,” said Candour Principal and Creative Director, Kristin Goza. “We truly believe it is our social responsibility to do pro-bono work for non-profit organizations that may not have the resources to properly promote themselves.”

Candour will do a marketing audit, develop an advertising and marketing calendar, as well as strategic design and messaging for UWMC.

Candour selects a non-profit client annually to donate pro-bono services to. In 2008, the studio selected the Ocala/Marion County Chamber of Commerce as the recipient of donated creative strategy and branding. Candour donated a total of $30,000 worth of strategic branding and design to the Chamber’s well-deserving efforts.

The UWMC is a local, nonprofit, volunteer-based organization that provides health and human services to the community. For nearly 50 years, the UWMC has united Marion County residents with local resources.
