HERMAN MILLER + ARTPRIZE =
AN ART LOVER’S PARADISE

If you haven’t been to ArtPrize yet, add it to your must-see events list in 2011. It’s a 3-week art festival taking place across the entire city of Grand Rapids, MI in a global contest for the public to decide who will win $250,000. In it’s second year, it’s already considered a phenomenon drawing crowds from all over the world to compete and vote for the greatest artist. As a supporter of the arts, Herman Miller participated as a sponsor and partnered with Candour to create a co-branded identity for the event.

CANDOUR SPONSORS WORLD SPORT CHICAGO'S FAMILY SPORTS FESTIVAL

Considered Chicago’s living legacy to bring the 2016 Olympics to the city, World Sport Chicago (WSC) has grown into a non-profit that seeks to grow the passion of sports within children to help them learn and grow. WSC hosted their first annual Family Sports Festival to bring children and families together with their favorite sports teams –- the Chicago Bulls, Bears, Cubs, Fire, Red Stars, Sky, and White Sox. The event drew families from all over the city and Candour was the official design sponsor.

GLAMOUR GALA: ONCE UPON A DRESS

When you think of the word "glamour", what comes to mind? Sparkly gowns, tuxedos, diamonds and fur coats? Well, that's exactly what was found at our first-ever "Glamour Gala: Once Upon a Dress" fundraising event. Candour partnered with Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club and Ocala Traditions as co-founders and event planners of one of this year's most beautiful and glamorous events. We successfully raised $15,000 to benefit the Marion Cultural Alliance, whose efforts aid such cultural icons in our community as the Appleton Museum of Art, Ocala Symphony Orchestra, and many other worthy causes.

20 MORE ADDY® AWARDS SIT ON OUR SHELVES

Candour took top honors at the 2010 Greater Ocala Advertising Federation Awards Gala. The slew of awards we received included Best of Show, Best of Print, Best Art Direction, Best of Electronic, 2 Judge's Choice Awards, 9 Gold ADDYs and 4 Silver ADDYs for a total of 19 awards. These wins piloted us on to compete at the District ADDY® Awards held in Tampa, Florida on May 2nd where we went on to win a Silver Regional ADDY® award.
