With a superhero mission to protect the poor from violence all over the world, the International Justice Mission (IJM) is working to rescue victims, bring criminals to justice, restore survivors and strengthen justice systems in developing countries. They are fighting a global fight against slavery, sex trafficking, sexual violence, police brutality, property grabbing and citizens rights abuse just to name a few. We are honored to have aligned ourselves with this organization’s mission by helping to create a resource guide for victims rescued from sex trafficking. These victims are taught by their captors not to trust police and people of authority. So, when they are rescued, the first thing they receive is this resource guide that we’ve created. Candour strategically designed it in a way that was fresh and vibrant to promote a lightheartedness so that the victims would feel like they’ve met a trusted friend. Since many of the victims are unable to read, we packed the book full of custom photos of women just like them that have been rescued and are recovering in shelters and getting the help they so desperately need.
